Boxer Rebellion Memorial, TientsinThe cemetery in the postcards below is not in the German Concession, but in the British Concession. After the end of the Boxer War, there were no exclusive cemeteries in the German Concession, and most of them were buried in British cemeteries (maybe that explains why it says EXPEDITION CORPS not the German EXPEDITIONSKORPS). Later, separate cemeteries were established in each concession. The cemetery no longer exists now. In the 1950s, the Tianjin Police Station was built thereļ¼ Located at the intersection of Tangshan Road and Hubei Road. (Thank you Hanjun for this information) |
